Job Description
Management
Manages performance of the Environmental Services Department ensuring excellent hospitality
and efficient operations.
Assigns work areas to housekeepers for cleaning and projects to Environmental Services
Techs to complete throughout workday.
Manages performance day to day of assigned associates to include long term
performance in performance reviews and performance improvement plans
Ensures associates providing the best service possible through the utilization of our
hospitality promises
Completes payroll through use of appropriate systems and forms, according to laws,
regulations and company policies
Completes performance inspections in accordance with department policies.
Assists in the recruitment, training and retention of associates.
Fills in during times of short staffing.

Operations
Manages operations of the department on a continual basis.
Keeps required records, reports, etc.
Coordinates annual apartment cleanings.
Coordinates department functions with those of other departments
Conducts inventories of all housekeeping supplies and places monthly order
for supplies
Follows budgetary guidelines.
Attends Environmental Services Committee meetings regularly utilizing
feedback in a continual improvement fashion
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Degree requirements: Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
Major if applicable:
Certifications, Licenses or
Registrations required, if any:
Special courses in housekeeping or institutional management are desirable. Valid Driver
License Required
Minimum years of career experience to qualify for role: 5
Total years of career experience to be fully proficient: 7
